The Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa

Bath, U.K.  – The goal of each and every member of The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa staff is to create a memorable overall experience for guests. That’s why it is difficult to pick just one favorite experience that stands alone. In addition to the hotel’s resplendent rooms and suites and sumptuous dining, here are five of the top don’t-miss experiences.

Spa Treatments

Bath is known for its healing waters, and there is no better place to refresh and revitalize than at The Spa & Bath House. Guests can slip into the heated Relaxation Pool, rejuvenate tired muscles in the Vitality Pool, and relax in the Himalayan Salt-infused Sauna. They can also choose from a selection of body treatments including massages featuring the luxurious holistic Elemental Herbology brands, manicures and pedicures.

Afternoon Tea

No stay would be complete without partaking of Afternoon Tea. Guests can choose from five Afternoon Tea menus: sweet, savory, sweet and savory, vegetarian and a special children’s menu that include freshly-baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserves, along with a range of exquisite pastries, cakes and tea sandwiches, and a selection of Ronnefeldt Tea. Afternoon Tea is served between 1:30 and 6 p.m. in The Dower House Restaurant or the glorious gardens. For a special treat, a glass, bottle or flight of Taittinger Champagne can be added.

Art Tours

Art at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa is an eclectic mix of world-renowned artists and much-loved local artisans with pieces thoughtfully placed throughout the hotel and gardens. A bespoke “Art at the RCH” tour takes in the local art scene in association with Portfolio Art. As a bonus, all art pieces on the property are for sale. For those who love horticulture, a personalized Garden Tour can also be arranged.

Dining al Fresco

When it’s warm and sunny, guests can enjoy dining in the beautiful gardens just outside The Dower House Restaurant, in the private Spa Garden, or in the exclusive Walled Garden. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, Afternoon Tea, light meals and snacks are available. This summer, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa introduced its new dining concept of “Al Fresco ‘Sharing’” created by Executive Head Chef, David Campbell. If guests are venturing off property, the restaurant staff are delighted to pack a take-along picnic.

Refreshing Flight

Guests can choose a flight of refreshing beverages from brand partners including a Taittinger Champagne flight, Grey Goose Martini flight, and a Sipsmith Gin flight. Plantation Rum, still and sparkling Chapel Down wines, Curious beer and cider, and other drink options are also available. A full Cocktail Menu is available at The Montagu Bar & Champagne Lounge.
